Batman #1 and #2
Scott Snyder, Greg Capulo, and Jonathan Glapion
Heard good things, loved Snyder's work on Swamp Thing, decided to check it out. Visually it's a very different take than Detective Comics and by the end of the second issue, we're set up with our big bad and and new take on Gotham.
Justice League #2
The first 5 issues of this series will each introduce and bring into the fold a new JL member. This one gives us The Flash. The world here is a very anti-masked hero one, reminding me a bit of Watchmen. Darkseid makes a few more moves and we get a nice little fight between the four characters as well as some amusing witty banter.
